NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED AT ANY DIXIE IRON EVENT!!

GENERAL RULES

1. All pullers must sign a liability waiver.
2. Tractor production models pre 1960.
3. Flagman starts & stops pull.
4. Every driver under age 18 MUST have a parent or guardian walking beside them durning the pull.
5. No more than 20% overstock RPM & no Governor overide.
6. Drawbar must be stationary in all directions.
7. No Alcohol or Methanol fuels allowed.
8. All tractors must be stock in appearance. NO TIRES OVER 18.4-38 IN CLASSES ALLOWED.

9. In the event of a protest, the protester's tractor will be checked first; if it fails, it will be disqualifed and no futher actions will be taken.  If that tractor passes, the protested tractor will then and only then be checked.  If it fails, it will be disqualified. You must have a tractor pulling in the same class as the tractor you protested.
9. The Dixie Iron Board Of Directors will determine all rule disputes and protests.

FARMSTOCK    3 1/2 MPH
Mufflers may be removed, straight exhaust allowed.
Max tire size 15.5 X 38 up to 5,000 lb.
Max tire size 18.4 X 38 on 5,500lb and above.
All WHEEL WEIGHTS must be FACTORY STYLE and
in factory locations.
No hang on weights allowed.
Hitchpoint must not be higher than 18", and no less
than 18" from center of the HUB to hook point.
No part of the drawbar may extend rearward beyond
point of hook.
Torque amplifiers CAN NOT be shifted during a pull.
Tractor can pull twice in each class with a different
driver.
No CUT OR INTENTIONALLY ALTERED tires allowed!!!
Wheelie Bars allowed.

SUPERSTOCK    4 1/2 MPH

EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2008 WORKING KILL SWITCHES AND WHEELIE BARS WILL BE REQUIRED!!!

No MODIFIED tractors allowed.                                                                                          TOP CUT AND ROAD WORN TIRES ALLOWED, NO FRONT EDGE CUT ALLOWED
Tractors can use hang on weights; they must be secure,
IF ANY WEIGHT FALLS OFF DURING TIME OF BEING HOOKED TO SLED, TRACTOR WILL BE DISQUALIFIED
Hitch point must not be any higher than 20", no less
than 18" from center of HUB to hook point. No part

MODIFIED    6 1/2 MPH

EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2008 WORKING KILL SWITCHES AND WHEELIE BARS WILL BE REQUIRED!!!
Cut tires and hang on weights are allowed as long as the
weights are secure, IF ANY WEIGHT FALLS OFF DURING TIME OF BEING HOOKED TO SLED, THE TRACTOR WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
DRIVER MAY SHIFT TORQUE AMPLIFER 1 TIME DURING PULL.
One pull per tractor per weight class.
Hitch point must not be higher than 20", no less than 18"
from the center of HUB and must be stationary in all
directions.
Weight brackets must not exceed NATPA rules.

POINTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Points will be awarded at EVERY pull in 2010!

PULLERS WILL ENTER THE POINTS RACE AT THE FIRST POINTS PULL OF THE YEAR. POINTS FEES ARE DUE ON EACH TRACTOR ENTERED IN POINTS. THE COST OF ENTERING THE FIRST CLASS WILL BE $40.00 PLUS THE HOOK FEE; EACH POINTS CLASS AFTER THAT WILL BE $10.00 PER CLASS PLUS THE REGULAR HOOK FEE. ALL PULLS WILL COST THE REGULAR HOOK FEE. YOU CAN ENTER AS MANY CLASSES AS YOU LIKE.   POINTS WILL BE ACCUMULATED FROM ALL 2010 PULLS FOR EACH COMPETITOR  IN THEIR RESPECTIVE CLASSES TO DETERMINE THE POINTS CHAMPION IN EACH CLASS FOR THE YEAR.  THERE WILL BE A 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACE IN EACH CLASS.  CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS WILL BE JACKETS, SHIRTS, OR PATCHES AS SELECTED.  POINTS WILL BE SCORED BY 1ST PLACE 100 POINTS, 2ND PLACE 75 POINTS, AND 3RD PLACE 50 POINTS. TOTAL POINTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE END OF THE YEAR AND WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED.
